In part 2, we return to Craven Arms in a bit drier weather, then continue up the line to Shrewsbury, location of the largest remaining semaphore signal box on Network Rail. We caught a few trains at Gobowen, with a unique electrically powered starter signal on the station platform, finishing on the Mawr Viaduct over the River Dee.
