Great Smoky Mountains Railroad: #1702 Tuckasegee River 11-26-2021.
On Black Friday 2021, we made our way back to Bryson City for our chase of the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad's Tuckasegee River excursion. THe power for this trip is GSMR's steam locomotive #1702, and not one, not two, but three diesel locomotives on the east end: 711 (which was to be dropped off at Dillsboro), 2467, and 2668 leads the train going eastbound. So, sit back, relax, and enjoy a firsthand look at great power in the Smokies!
