Great Smoky Mountains Railroad: #1702 Tuckasegee River 6-29-2022. On the last Wednesday of June 2022, we traveled back to the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad to see the last summer steam Tuckasegee River excursion for the year.
*Since Memorial Day weekend, the lettering on 1702 has changed a bit since. Now with near yellow lettering, 1702 now gives the proper vibe of a Southern Railway steam locomotive. (While 1702 never operated on the Southern, the crew just wanted to give the 1702 a makeover.)
