Daveonte J. Dixon is scheduled to be sentenced Monday after pleading guilty to six first-degree felony charges stemming from shootings involving Mifflin Township police officers and Franklin County sheriff’s deputies in May 2025.

Dixon pleaded guilty to one count of attempted murder and five counts of felonious assault. The charges include multiple firearm specifications, as well as a repeat violent offender specification attached to the attempted-murder charge.

According to prosecutors, the case stems from two separate incidents in May 2025. Dixon was accused of shooting at two Mifflin Township police officers before later being located by law enforcement following a two-day effort to capture him.
