From my tape archives @ Tokyo Game Show Fall 1999, this early footage of Gran Turismo 2000 (which eventually became Gran Turismo 3) can now be seen in full and in the best quality known to be recorded from the event... footage has been semi stabilized (this was still pre-tripod days for me) and color corrected from my original TGS 1999/Sony video here: youtube.com/watch?v=I-vH-EW4Jrg -- there's also an extra segment briefly showing GT 2000 at the PlayStation Festival in February 2000, my original video for that is here: youtube.com/watch?v=sih-A12WPDM
When I recovered this footage recently, I couldn't believe how good GT 2000 came out. Die-hard fans may have seen some of it either in my TGS video linked above... or far more likely, on Digital Foundry's excellent Gran Turismo History video (part 2), as part 1 was so great that we realized we needed to supply John Linneman this "lost" footage to use for part 2.... and he very much agreed! youtube.com/watch?v=Wo3BEvmaMIM
