Graf Ignatiev street is one of the emblematic streets for Sofia. Almost every big city with tram transport has a similar streets. In 2018 the street was completely renovated, because the tram tracks were very old and overall the street doesn't looked so pretty. The renovation process should be finalized for 6 months, but actually it took more than a year! There were a major scandals due to the poor quality of the repairs and materials which are used, but overall now there's no point for comparison "before - after". Unfortunatelly, I also think that the quality of the renovation is poor, the used materials aren't so good and the overall appearance of the street could be much better.
No matter of that, the renovation finally is completed. We have a new look of the street. So now, just enjoy one of the most emblematic streets in Sofia from the board of a Tatra T6A2 tram on line 18.
