When out for a run to collect their passenger trains, Gordon and James were diverted onto an old dirty track that was muddy. Gordon came off the rails and he and James were both covered in mud from fender to footplate. Luckily James was strong enough to pull Gordon to safety. Before they could go and take passengers to their destination they both had to go to the engine wash for a nice clean. In no time at all Both engines were spec and span.
