Gordian Sampler: How to Use
1. Recording and Gain Control.
Each of the three channels has an independent Rec Gain knob to control the recording input level. Choose between 2Sec or 5Sec for quick recording durations. Press the REC button to capture audio.
2. Waveform Display.
After recording, you’ll see the audio waveform displayed for each channel. This visual representation helps you to identify and precisely manipulate your sample.
3. Replace Function.
Click the Replace button to load an external sample directly into each channel. This lets you experiment with pre-recorded sounds and combine them with recorded audio.
4. Loop and Reset Functions.
Use the Loop button to continuously play the sample as a loop.
The Reset button reverts the settings to their original state for easy adjustments and experimentation.
5. Speed, Start, and End Controls.
Speed: Adjusts the speed specifically for Random Mode, allowing for varied playback tempos. Try using different speeds to create rhythmic pads or atmospheric textures.
Start and End knobs let you set precise start and end points within the sample, tailoring playback to specific sections.
6. Sample Manipulation Modes.
The various mode buttons allow for creative manipulations of each sample:
Stop/Normal/Reverse/Double/Fast/Crazy/Insane/Random
7. Randomize Position with Rnd Button.
The Rnd (Randomize) button changes the sample playback position, introducing unexpected shifts within the sound. Perfect for adding variation and surprise elements to your loops.
8. Loop Gain Control.
Each channel has its own Loop Gain knob to adjust the output volume independently, allowing for precise control over the mix of layered sounds.
The "Hidden Bug".
Load a sample that is longer than the default recording time.
Click on REC to start recording again.
When you do this, the recorder will allow you to capture for the length of the loaded sample, effectively extending your recording time!

This is the beta version of Pyramid, a visual synthesizer for Max for Live that allows you to modify
sound by interacting with the movements of the solid.
By downloading this product, you are helping Pyramid grow; this beta version may still encounter
bugs and crashes, but with your support and feedback, we can improve this exciting musical
experiment.
Its truly incredible how interacting with the vector pyramid can change your approach to thinking
about music, and your contribution will enable the concrete development of this wonderful device.
Additionally, the download provides you with the program patch, where you can learn how to
obtain the coordinates of a Jitter object and modify them via MIDI. This is a wonderful interaction
between sound and video that opens up many creative possibilities.
HOW TO USE:
1) Start the video of the solid with on/off, you will find it on a secondary screen, you can move it
with the mouse while controlling the sound evolutions.
2) Gain 1 and Gain 2 control some sound elements, multiplied together with mixtures of triangular
and sine waves, mixed with temporal changes of reverb and delay.
3) When you turn on auto_rotate, the solid will maintain the rotation you gave it, creating
interesting loops at different speeds.
4) With x,y,z you can control the moviments of your pyramid manually or via Midi.
Tips for use:
1. This is a beta version, so dont rely too heavily on the device.
2. Always record everything onto an audio track to avoid losing your improvisations.
3. Dont open two instances of it in the same project.

a soundtrack that has deeply captivated me from an intellectual standpoint,
an in-depth exploration, namely delving into a profound labyrinth of sound.
A music not easily listened to, a narrative made of high frequencies, a real challenge against my own ear.
From the performance
Sotto un grande velo di lino
A new poetic/choreographic creation by Teatro del Carro and Virgilio Sieni,
inspired by the Pietà by Antonello Gagini and the Stations of the Cross of Mary by Charles Peguy.
The request from Virgilio Sieni and Luca Michienzi was for a ritualistic sound, a study on high frequencies, on the inaudible,
music without rhythm, without time, almost exclusively spatial music.
The first two performances of the show

While working on Noise Labyrinth, I started wondering — what would this instrument sound like if, instead of FM synthesis for noise generation, it used pure oscillators?
That question became Texture Labyrinth: 48 sine oscillators arranged in a circular labyrinth interface, designed for drone, ambient and texture design.
