After 35 years in professional film production, I have a "baseline suckage" standard for action cameras—and I generally hate @GoPro However, I’ve just rigged up my Cessna 172 with three of the new @GoPro Mission One cameras and the Media Mod to see if they can finally handle the demands of a 3-hour cross-country flight to Sherbrooke and Charlottetown.

In this video, I’m putting my professional reputation on the line to test:

Audio Syncing: How well do these hold timecode with Tentacle Sync boxes?
Overheating: Can the Media Mod handle the "greenhouse" heat of a cockpit glare shield?
Close Focus: Does the much-discussed focus issue actually matter for vlogging?
Battery Life: Can they really survive a 4-hour flight on a single charge?
Whether you're here for the technical deep dive into my professional dual-system sound setup or you just want to come along for the ride to PEI for some fishing and clamming, welcome to Glen's Hangar.
