We're unboxing the all-new Google Pixel Watch 5 (41mm, Wi-Fi variant) straight out of the box, and the design upgrades are already looking premium. Here's everything inside the box and our first impressions on build, straps, and the unique charging dock.
What's In The Box
The main box slides open into two clean sections one holding the watch itself and the other with the accessories. Inside you get the Pixel Watch 5, a user manual booklet, and two strap sizes in the press-and-slide format.
Design & Build
The watch case has a genuinely impressive, premium build. The screen is totally curved on top and along the bottom edge too, giving it a rounded, glass-forward look every time you glance at it. The rotating crown feels solid and adds a tactile way to navigate the interface.
Charging Dock
One of the most unique elements here is the charging dock the bonding mechanism feels very strong, and the way the watch sits into the dock to charge is unlike most smartwatches we've unboxed.
Straps
The straps use a press-and-slide mechanism, which is different from the usual pin-buckle systems. Two sizes are included in the box so you can find the right fit straight away without needing to buy extras.
