In this corner, a newly modded Rode NT1-A verses a Peluso 2247LE microphone. I got the Rode for free and then spent $27 on Ebay and bought a random (cheap) RK-47 capsule "just for fun". I then put it up against a much more expensive Peluso 2247le microphone. Both mics are going through an A -Designs Pacifica, into a UA Apollo x16 into logic. I'm processing both changes with a little hpf and compression from an SSL Native Channel Strip 2. I tried to match levels and am just muting and unmuting randomly. Spoiler alert, there's a slight difference in sound but it's not gigantic. Please, please, PLEASE, excuse my goofy "freestyle rap" (or enjoy it?).
