I just started trying out the new Steven Slate Virtual Bus Compressor and decided to try a quick comparison between it and some of my other compressors. I'm comparing it to Cytomic's "The Glue", NI's "Solid Bus Comp", and Logic's built in compressor. My goal was to just crush a drum loop with the Slate VBC and then try to get similar results with the other plugins. This is by no means a scientific test nor an endorsement for one plugin over the other. I think I got interesting results with all 4. Do your own tests and see what you come up with!
