Continuing the workshop makeover, I found some inspiration from Michael Alm’s recent workshop tour video, and an old Adam Savage video, to make a set of workshop cabinets with modular storage. The nail gun module shown here is a ‘proof of concept’ design made from whatever scraps of sheet materials - mostly MDF - that I had to hand, but if it works out as I expect it to I can see myself remaking it in plywood. Enjoy!

In this video I take a quick look at couple of larger than average mid-range #plungesaws, and try to figure out the difference between them. Re. blade sizes mentioned in the video, there is a wider choice of blades at the 184 x 20mm size, which begs the question - why design your saw around a 185mm blade?? OEM blades may be available from third parties.
