This song is very special to me. I know I'm not Jonny Hawkins, but I tried my best. And I know he wrote it about his mother, but I changed the lyrics just a tiny bit to make it fit my personal situation. Both my father and grandfather died of cancer in the US, while I live in Japan.
This song always reminds me of them, so I wanted to do my own version of it dedicated to them.
I miss you and love you both, grandpa and dad.
