Authorities in Gombe State are stepping up efforts to improve town planning and land administration, with residents being sensitised on the importance of complying with approved planning regulations.

The Gombe State Urban Planning and Development Authority (GOSUPDA) and Gombe Geographic Information Systems (GOGIS) are engaging communities to address past planning challenges and promote adherence to the state’s development master plan.

The current exercise covers two communities, as authorities work towards more orderly and sustainable urban development.
