After rescuing Altin and carrying out some more minor business, the crossing will be cleared, and you will be able to progress west-- but not before Ivan learns a new Psynergy skill: Reveal. Reveal REVEALS (surprisingly enough) hidden aspects of the game, such as concealed chests or "blocked" entrances. With Reveal, you will be able to locate oases in the Lamakan Desert, and therefore survive it. At the end, you will find the Manticore (Which is simple to defeat with good summons.)
