What if the Kingdom of God is not something we simply wait for in the future?

Peter tells us to be diligent, to be established in the truth, and to allow Christ’s life to be formed within us. Jesus taught us to pray, “Your kingdom come, Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.”

But the kingdom is not merely something we observe from a distance. God is preparing hearts for His presence—and the day star is rising within His people.

We don't have to wait for eternal life to begin. In Christ, eternal life can begin today.

Peter knew his earthly life was coming to an end, yet he was determined to leave behind a reminder that would continue stirring believers toward truth. His words still speak to us today.
