Godfather Cocktail is an old classic cocktail created in the 70s and '70s. The story goes it was inspired by the legendary movie The Godfather. We wouldn't know if Mario Puzo's book or Francis Ford Coppola's movie was the inspiration for the cocktail.

No matter which one, I can tell you the Godfather Cocktail is perfect for after dinner or a long talk slow sip. The original recipe is the same ratio of Scotch Whiskey and Amaretto Liqueur. However, you can change this and make it to your liking.

You can try all of the Godfather family cocktails by simply swapping the Scotch to a different ingredient:
- Godfather: Scotch Whisky & Amaretto
- Godmother: Vodka & Amaretto
- Godchild: Brandy & Amaretto
