For the past 15 years, Austria based GOD records has been releasing some exceptional works of avant garde, experimental, jazz, rock and industrial music on vinyl, ranging from the likes of Phill Niblock, Morton Feldman, Philip Jeck, Laibach, Alvin Lucier, Georhes Aperghis, The Flying Luttenbachers, Gerhard Rühm, to name the most famous. But he's also been championing up and coming contemporary artists, including his own work, that is bridging most of all those influences together,
After a stellar 2023 with landmark releases, the new year starts with a few treasures that we'll discuss, as well as his work as a label owner and curator in the avant garde field, his roots in Yugoslavian music, and much more.
