After Kratos and Atreus had spoken to Surtr and got him to cooperate, Surtr leads Kratos and Atreus down into a cosmic location known as the Spark of the World.
Within the Spark of the World, Kratos stabs the Blades of Chaos into Surtr's chest and into the heart, causing Surtr to change and fall into the cosmic void, transforming into Ragnarök.
After Surtr had fallen into the void, two Valkyries appear ready to fight.
