Kratos and Thor enter battle once again, this time within Asgard during the war.

After a few minutes of fighting, Kratos pins Thor down, showing mercy. Thor, finally understanding things, comes to his senses and creates a truce with Kratos for the time being.

Thor creating a truce with Kratos and refusing to fight made his father Odin angry, resulting in his death, and triggered Kratos' fight against Odin to begin.
