Welcome everyone to God of War Ascension! In this Chapter I will thoroughly cover The Trial of Archimedes (aka Elevator of Hell) which according to many is by far the hardest chapter in the game. This guide is to help average and above average players overcome this nightmarish chapter. It will take MANY tries but believe in yourself, you can do it :)
Pros

- Spamming Amulet & Stone makes a HUGE difference
- Ring outs possible
- You get health & magic back after each trial*
- 2nd and 3rd trials not as hard
- spamming magic at the right time helps
- killing Gorgons gives you more magic
- killing Amazon Warrior gives you more health
- Spamming the Rage makes a HUGE difference against tough opponents
- Some attacks can be parried
- SPoP does big damage in Rage Mode

Cons

- Amulet & Stone leaves you vulnerable after use
- Ring outs hard to do
- Health likely will get lower when Sirens appear
- 2nd trial VERY narrow, 3rd trial has aggressive enemies
- Using magic at the wrong time will be costly
- Gorgons will cheap shot you (even when not seen)
- Amazon Warrior VERY aggressive
- Rage meter gone after Gorgon squeeze and limited
- Parrying is a joke
- SPoP has limited execution due to aggressive enemies
- NO SAVE POINTS IN BETWEEN TRIALS
