Hello friends. I have been wanting to make this video for awhile.
A while back I discovered a wonderful thread of a retelling of Dolly Parton's "Jolene." I was reminded of this beautiful Reddit threat by my friend José recently. You see, this thread involved the reimagining of Jolene as a Lovecraftian, Demonic--Horrible creature and I thought it would be perfect to post for Halloween!
The beginning is supposed to be a banshee cry (sung by yours truly) and ya know what? I think its the coolest part of the whole dang song. The back track was made from SCRATCH! I whipped that puppy up with my own two hands!
This video probably took at least 24 hours total to make. This may be one of my most involved videos I've ever done. Please enjoy God of Death: Jolene.
