Ride along on San Antonio river boats with 40 of your favorite AFPeeps on the GoalBusters Fundraising Flotilla at the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference.
Alice Ferris and Jim Anderson organized another entertaining excursion for 40 of our fellow fundraisers. The dinner cruise was catered by the world famous Boudro's Restaurant.

We originally reserved one boat seating 20. When we announced this event we had 22 confirmations for those 20 seats in less than 24 hours. We booked a second boat and had 31 confirmations for 40 seats in under 48 hours.
The 90 minute cruise included:
A champagne toast
Tableside prepared Boudros signature guacamole
Choice of entree:
HOUSE SMOKED SHRIMP AND GULF CRAB ENCHILADAS: In a tomato crepe with ancho sauce and crème fraiche served with rice pilaf, black beans and pico de gallo
SAUTEED BREAST OF CHICKEN: Papaya pico de gallo beurre blanc, pecan rice pilaf and roasted vegetables
Louisiana Bread Pudding
House wine, beer or margaritas, Iced tea, Fiji water
General merriment, tweetable moments and lots of singing
Special Note: Amy Eisenstein and Dan Blakemore recount two of their favorite GoalBusters adventures. Amy got to have a "special ride" with one of Jim's newest friends to the GoalBusters ACFRE Recognition Dinner in Pittsburgh at the AFP Leadership Conference and Dan joined Jim and Ligia Pena at Hogs and Heifers in New York City while Jim was volunteering at WBAI-FM for a pledge drive. Thanks to Peter Drury who explains GoalBusters events like these.
(Yes, most of the video is shot at the Boudro's dock because they wouldn't let us stand up while cruising the river.)
