For many players, it’s wise to go for the mouthpiece that’s warm enough. Not necessarily the one that sounds the biggest/warmest in a playtesting room.At the end of the day, what’s most important is how the mouthpiece helps you perform when you’re live on stage. In the case of this video, Milena Casado had an easier time on the 2XL2 in Bronze, which is still a very large sounding mouthpiece. Just not AS big sounding as the 2XL3.
If you choosing between a mouthpiece that’s giving you an easier time vs a mouthpiece that’s got a bigger sound, you’ll often be better off the with one that makes your playing easier. 🎺❤️
