A collection of mostly ad breaks, some GMTV and some regular ITV (LWT I think, with at least one from during CITV), plus a tiny bit of Diggit Extra and the occasional promo. All from the same tape evidently recorded in the summer of 2000, given how big they were going on The Flintstones in Viva Rock Vegas at the time - and if ever you wanted proof of how broken YouTube's content-matching technology is, somehow the We Will Rock You background music used in that trailer is being autodetected as the 2024 Megan Thee Stallion version.
Of the ads, the Cadbury Land Shush one caught my eye, partly because I don't remember the product at all. I enjoyed Robbie Williams and his miming joke for Pepsi, even if it's a gag Fry and Laurie had done much better a decade or so earlier. I'm really not sure about the Doritos competition to win a kiss with a movie star, but the Sony Home Cinema campaign interested me in that it was a good reminder of that slow crossover from 4:3 bulky analogue to 16:9 slimline digital technology of today. I have absolutely no memory of those Gum Watches, and I tried swizzle-dot-co-dot-uk but it's just a landing page now, so no virtual makeover for me.
