Bear with me while I speak my mind for a minute.
I fear these are dark and dangerous times, my friends.
We see a worldwide uptick in violence. Be it verbally for now and physical in some places in the world. We see men in power all over the world trying to pull even more power towards them. Democratically elected thin skinned egos, trying to turn democracy into a personal trove of absolute power.
I don't care whether you are gay, trans, black, white, brown, tall, thick or thin. I don't care whether you are Christian, Muslim, Jew or Buddhist. What I do care about is that we need more kindness, love and respect towards our fellow man. I say enough of banning books, trying to rewrite history. How can we learn from history if we deny or hide what happened?
I fear history is about to repeat itself sooner, rather than later.
