*Global Children’s Invention Contest 2026 | IDEASforEARS*
IDEASforEARS is a global children's invention contest for young innovators with hearing loss and cochlear implants. Organized by MED-EL, it invites children aged 6 to 12 to develop creative ideas that make everyday life with hearing loss easier, safer, or more fun.
This year's winners travelled to MED-EL HQ in Innsbruck, Austria, for two unforgettable days. They met fellow young inventors from around the world, celebrated their achievements, met MED-EL CEO Dr. Ingeborg Hochmair and the engineers who helped create their hearing technology, explored our surgical lab and the AUDIOVERSUM, and showcased their talents during a special celebration.
