Near Ashby Minnesota we check out a prairie underlain by sediments bulldozed southwards by glaciers 15,000 years ago. Plants here include Liatris, Gentiana puberulenta, Amorpha canescens, Rhus glabra , Schizachyrium scoparium, Artemisia campestris, Artemisia frigida, Populus tremuloides and more. This is a really cool habitat only "recently" recolonized by plant life but still diverse as hell.
