After 6 months of incubation, 29 businesses graduated from the inaugural cohort of the programme and have collectively generated averagely GHS 4,353,642 monthly in revenue, raised an additional capital of GHS 2,937,640, and created 104 new jobs.
31 new businesses have also been inducted into the second cohort of the Green Business Competitions for MSMEs. Over the next 6 months, these businesses will benefit from tailored advisory services, technical assistance, and financial support to scale their climate-smart solutions and strengthen operations.
With a strong focus on green job creation and sustainability, the programme aims to generate over 100 new jobs in key green sectors, support businesses in reducing their carbon footprint, and enhancing MSMEs' resilience.
