Hello everyone! I am back with a new video after so damn long because college, but I decided to do something special.

So for those K-Pop fans out there, and who are aware of Kep1er, aka my ult faves right now, Kep1er is set to disband on July 3, 2024 as agreed upon in the group's contract of promotion after 2 and half years from debut. Therefore I will be very heartbroken when that day comes.
Everyone agrees that Kep1er's career was fumbled over by their own company, WakeOne Entertainment, who failed to promote them as much as they should after debut by sending them to Queendom 2, to then making inconsistent concept and sound choices, to a lot more mistreatment towards Kep1er. They could have been a top group of the latter half of the 4th generation.
Even with talks of contract extensions, it may be unlikely that the members' original companies won't push through, thus the group may actually disband on July 3.
So me, a devout Keplian ever since Girls Planet 999, decided to make an original song. A space-themed title track for Kep1er because of how inconsistent WakeOne is. I basically used pre-made loops in GarageBand because I am not a pro music producer, but I did write my own lyrics and recorded vocals. In the video, I showed who I think which member suts what part, while making sure all 9 girls get enough time to shine.
My biggest inspirations for the sound was honestly making it girl-crush, or something more badass because Kep1er can pull of any concept and this kind of song will show how strong dancers, more even performers that the group is. I was inspired by Kep1er songs like "WA DA DA", "We Fresh" and "Grand Prix", with a touch of ITZY's "WANNABE" and aespa's "Drama". I of course specific sounds and loops in GarageBand to give the hard-hitting sound with vibes of space and technology.
"Supernova" is a song about making it big, which is what Kep1er should have been able to do when managed properly. It about letting yourself be known for your hard work and strife for success, how you will "blow up" like a supernova explosion for everyone to recognize your name beyond the stars.
With this long introduction out the way, showing my love for Kep1er, here is my original song for them, "Supernova".
