IT IS FINALLY HERE!!!!
[NOTE: I am so sorry, I was meant to upload this yesterday but my gmail got disabled, however I am so so so thankful I got it back now!!]
Yessssss, this is the very first original song that I took almost 2.5 weeks of writing lyrics, composing and recording the vocals for. I thought why not take inspiration and make it for something I really really love right now, the amazing film, "Luca", I really want a sequel of it, or a series, but this seems like if the movie had songs or yk.....Luca The Musical ;)))))
My biggest inspiration for the song structure is "Waving Through A Window" from Dear Evan Hansen. A bit of "Spongebob: The Musical" and "She's In Love" from "The Little Mermaid Musical" for some of the instruments too. If you're wondering where I did the instrumentation, Garageband, as in pressing many buttons 'cuz I ain't that pro using actual instruments :,DD
Also for a bit of flavor maybe, I did try and act some lines from the film. For me this song is sung when Luca and Alberto decide to run to Portorosso. Luca thinks maybe this is it, where he can be free, but he needs Alberto. While Alberto also decides he will finally not be alone, hence he needs Luca.
In the end, I am just so darn grateful and happy to finally share this song I made from the heart with you guys. May not be the best, but I am so proud I was able to do something like this!
Oh, and if anyone asks if they can use this song for a cover/animatic/amv or something, you are totally allowed to do so, just please give me credit, I took so much time on this while I also had online school so it would mean a lot to me.
