Nothing better than sitting and walking in nature with the most natural wolfdog breed in the world.
The high content American wolfdog is one of the most advanced breeds there is. A relationship based on mutual trust and positive experiences.
These wolfdogs are extremely close in personality to full blood wolves and with this comes independence, a fierce desire for food, power on leash, and when jumping and interacting.
These are not pets to anyone except the most experienced and advanced wolfdog owners who will work with them like working with a pure wolf. They cannot live inside with you as extremely destructive and require huge outdoor enclosures with correct fencing. They also need canine companionship.
If you abuse these beautiful souls they will do NOTHING for you and they will hate you and never trust you. If anyone thinks I am wrong and think they have a high content, I honestly believe they do NOT have a high content,, but a much lower content or even Nordic mix. Bad breeders are notorious for selling ‘pretend wolfdogs’ and I am sent so many photos on a daily basis from people convinced they have wolfdogs and they absolutely don’t. They tell me they’re easy and then send me a photo of a husky or shepherd mix. I advocate for both wolves and wolfdogs and am fiercely protective over both.
I repeat: DO NOT look to buy one unless you have the passion, time, money and skill to raise these the correct way otherwise they are always surrendered. I do not suggest these animals around small dogs, cats or small children.
