A cover of the song Gimme Chocolate!! by Babymetal, from the self titled album 'Babymetal'.
The infamous Babymetal song, that is most likely one of the first Babymetal songs we've all heard! It's definitely a fan favourite so I couldn't not cover this one!
It was a pretty straight forward cover as it's a pretty easy song, although the solo crazy fast! I've also noticed a lack of the divebomb/whammy bar section in most other covers so I gave it a go myself, hopefully it gives the right effect, even if it's not 100% accurate!
Warning, I don't speak Japanese! I simply looked at the romaji lyrics which show the lyrics phonetically in the English alphabet. I tried my best, and hopefully the scream vocals masked the poor pronuciation, but my apologies for any Japanese speakers out there!
If you're wondering why bother with the screams, it's simply to offer a different take on the song and perhaps get people to appreciate the band, regardless of whether or not they enjoy the original vocals! So if you don't like the vocals, that's fine as there is an instrumental version coming soon but try and appreciate what we're going for here!
