I’ve been following Jono Smart for years and checking in with what he and Emily Stephen are up to, is one of those things I always look forward to throughout the week.
You may see us bicker from time to time in the comments, well, I’d argue that’s Jono’s doing, but behind the scenes we are kind to each other, I promise, we chat about work, how on earth to run a business, how to deal with clients, how to fix problems and apply glazes, the lot.
We’re both potters who’ve grown up putting ourselves and our work on the web and his pots are used regularly both at home and in my workshop, hence why this capacious unexpected parcel was such a surprise to receive.
Perhaps most importantly though, in a few days’ time at 7:00 pm BST, 30 March, Jono and Emily will be updating their online shop with a collection of lovely pots, I’ll see you there.
