There are so many tiny, highly detailed, process specific tips like these. Methods you'll only come across every now and then when the process of throwing or trimming pottery is really broken down. In this video, I discuss what I think are five underrated pottery tips, four of which were those 'aha', 'click', moments for me, those tricks you hear that suddenly make something that you struggled with make sense.
By the way, if you have any similar tips, little tidbits that changed the way you view a specific step or process, I'd love to hear them. They can change you way you make pots drastically and I love to try and incorporate newly discovered tips from into my craft. I guess that's what we all are to some degree, we're amalgamations of the potters we've learnt from.

*I throw using both a Rohde HMT 500 & 600 potter's wheel and fire using Rohde kilns too, the electric is a TE-200 and the gas kiln is a KG-340.
