On Sunday January 28 2018, Jack Gibbons will give a benefit on behalf of the Randolph County Humane Society, at the Davis Memorial Church, Elkins, West Virginia, USA (concert begins 2pm). The concert's theme is "A musical menagerie" and the program will include music inspired by animals of all shapes and sizes including the composers' own pets, from Mozart's starling to Gershwin's wire-haired terrier, with music along the way by Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Alkan, Saint-Saëns, Rimsky-Korsakov, Gibbons, and others.
