An extract from Winston Churchill's 'Finest Hour' speech, delivered to Parliament, London, 18 June 1940 (recorded for the BBC later the same day) followed by Harold Arlen/Johnny Mercer's wartime song 'My Shining Hour' (sung by Frank Sinatra, April 1944, and danced by Fred Astaire/Joan Leslie in the movie for which the song was written, 'The Sky's The Limit', 1943).
