During a storm or high surf, the wave explosions at Shore Acres in Oregon will take the air out of your lungs! Folks who think a King Tide is needed are vastly uninformed! It's simply during a high surf an event with waves coming from the correct direction that explosions occur! This is one of the only places in the world where water from the waves crashing ashore can reach heights exceeding 300.'
