Yeah that’s me, Mac the coastal carpet python. Normally calm, chilled, just cruising around like a scaly garden hose on holiday.
Then some hooman rocks up: “ 🙍🏼♂️ Hey mate… can ya move off the road?”
Nah… actually he yells it: “GET OFF THE ROAD!”
🐍Oi. My name’s Mac, and this is an ancient serpent highway . I was here before tyres were even a dodgy idea. So maybe you get off the road, champ.”
So I do what any respectful, mildly annoyed noodle does , I hiss.
“I am currently processing your request and strongly disagree.”or to put it bluntly , That’s me saying: “who the f are you on my commute, mate⁉️
I’ll move when I’m ready. No rush. I’ve got places to be… …….eventually.
Hoomans… bloody everywhere these days.
I don’t see many of these guys and most pythons are so chilled and you stop and they just make their own merry way off the road . But last night this was one heck of a cranky snake and had no intention of moving . Had to give em a little encouragement . How cool is that hissing .
