I'm baaaaaack! Thank you, Kingsleigh for hosting another summer challenge! This was super fun as always!
So I totally would've sung Summertime Record if I had discovered KagePro during my childhood. Like cmon, it fits the theme perfectly. Unfortunately, I discovered it in my teens, and while that is still legal child age, I don't think it would be in the spirit of challenge
So Kingsleigh, you have evaded the wrath of Jay P. Pouble Pubs for another year! Blast it!
I had to think about what songs would actually be relevant to my childhood, which admittedly did not contain much.
Ninjago is pretty freaking peak, even without nostalgia glasses, and it really does not have competition. Like, Transformers Prime was also a peak cartoon show, but its opening has NO LYRICS. So what was I gonna do, just play the opening and not say anything? That's stealing!
I think Ninjago's only other competition would've been the Magic Schoolbus opening ... maybe another time
