So full transparency, I have no idea what Kazui’s deal is. I’m seen some tame to wack theories about it, and I’m just going to go with the policy of “the simplest answer is likely the correct answer”.
I’m going to predict that Kazui broke up with his wife and regrets it, but he never really loved her.
He thinks that just cause he was forgiven, he’s definitely the victim of their relationship and thus shouldn’t be bothered by her death anymore.
I also don’t think he understands what love is, which is why he disregards in it in his song.
Also, he probably finds the whole process of marriage unnecessarily “for show”, given how he kinda ridicules it here and got attracted to another person so easily.
All in all, it’s getting real difficult to be a Kazui defender. Not even sure if I’m happy that more people are forgiving him. I think I’m leaning towards guilty due to how callous he’s become to the whole situation.
