Hear the dolls scream. In anticipation of the upcoming “Ghost in the Shell” remake, directed by Rupert Sanders, we of Resistance Pictures set out to create this fan film set in the world created by manga author Masamune Shirow and expanded on by anime director Mamoru Oshii. In this film, a Section 9 lead investigator, Garrett Locke (Shaquille Henry), is tasked to track down an entity known as the Nightstalker who has been strategically killing men of the Knight gang. Along with Shaquille Henry, the film stars Michael Evans, Kurshall Roy, Nadeem Ali, Yoko Higuchi, Megan Gill, Eirene Tuakora, Robert Snyder, Rosa Sicks and Quent Chiofalo. This was an ambitious project to take on and we hope that we put an interesting spin on the already iconic source material.
