We at Resistance Pictures, in association with SugrPinkCar Studios, present to you our first [narrative] short film of 2020. During this ongoing pandemic, writer/director Yoko Higuchi took the opportunity to shoot this reflective film, which is set in a fictional pandemic in the year 2025. The film stars Shawn Joseph in his film debut, with voice appearances and cameos from Michael Evans, Lissa Millien, Katie Verde, Nadeem Ali, Bre Tomey, Shaquille Henry, Darren J. DeF, and Karen Zheng. The film is scored Adam El-Sabagh and features the single "Yearning" by Nadeem Ali. A huge thank you to everyone who worked so hard to bring this film to life. We sincerely hope that the film and its message will provide some hope during this seemingly hopeless time.
