Since 2002, Germany has been committed to stabilization and enduring support in Afghanistan and currently engages more than 1,200 soldiers to the NATO-led Resolute Support mission. Their personnel currently provide valued support in Kabul, Kunduz, Bagram, and Mazar-i-Sharif, where they command Train, Advise, Assist Command - North.
