👉 From satellite 🛰️ technology to ground terrestrial systems 📡, equipment on aircraft ✈️ & all the related technology that makes modern air traffic ops possible, Gerhard and his team are constantly working closely with aviation partners on navigation & aviation spectrum matters.
Spectrum is of course a hot 🔥 topic for aviation, with huge demand from non-aviation actors for an extremely limited radio frequency spectrum that is absolutely vital for aeronautical use.
Predictions? 💭 In the future, satellite navigation will become increasingly robust by operating on multiple frequencies with multiple systems - but complementary terrestrial navigation systems will continue to be necessary. We're working on modernising these systems to provide robust navigation to aviation which will help optimise operations & Network Efficiency...
