Long story short me and Spam beat this on 12/26/2021 but because we were going for first victor and someone got it like a day or a few days before us we (I) got demotivated and never bothered to edit the video (and also because it was a pain to sync both of our clicks) until 2/12/2022. So why am I uploading this so many months later if I already had the video back in February? Well idk, I guess I just didn't care enough to upload it as other things took priority and we eventually stopped caring. At least it's out now
The level itself is pretty cool, but that ball part at the predrop was a bit much. Anyway, props to Spam as usual for willing to play with the delay on parsec. Well here we are, a new hardest after almost 3 years. Really glad to have this done since it was one of the two levels that made me quit the game for a while. Needless to say the other one is harder and if you know you know but enough about that.
I originally started this because of DiamondSplash getting far with my icons and also because he made it look easy so I thought why not. Thats the thing with this level, it looks easy (and doing each part individually is not so bad). Its top 50 for a reason though and thats because its hard. We all know 0-38 is easy and then 38-100 is where the real difficulty starts. I think it really is all in the mindset. You need to be confident in your ability to pass the parts because if youre scared of them youre putting yourself at a disadvantage. Its hard to do though and something I managed to achieve only on the last day of playing. The experience was ok at first, then I really liked the level once I started being consistent, then I got annoyed due to the fails, and then on the very last day started liking it again because of having the proper mindset. Its important to also not be mad or hate what youre playing because if you do it will hinder consistency. The level taught me to not constantly go for big runs as a warm up because they are not necessary once you do them once, and also to only play while not tired and in a good mindset. Even though I couldnt always follow through, stopping at the right time is crucial. Overall, I would say it was ok. Completion achieved on 5/15/24
Special thanks to Elitus for showing me how to properly do Yakobs ball. Also to Spamdrew and Roby for the support. You guys really made the experience of beating this a lot better.
Btw Spamdrew beat Thinking Space at the exact time I beat Zodiac (to the minute) which is crazy. He only had to do that in the first place because he lost the calamity fluke bet with me lol
Just playing for fun at this point and its nice to be able to beat iconic levels that were a big deal back in the day, even though they mean nothing today since everyone is good at the game now and beats them.
Maybe now I can finally get to editing and uploading the 28 completed extremes I have yet to post. Procrastination do be nice.
