The Geo-Legends series features our most eminent members. In episode 2 of season 6, Ryley Beddoe interviews Kerry Rowe! Kerry was the 45th Rankine Lecturer in 2005, the 53rd Terzaghi Lecturer in 2017, has a geosynthetics lecture named for him, and has won numerous other awards throughout his career.
He talks about everything from his time growing up in construction towns in Australia, the impact Ted Smith and Harry Poulos had on his life and career, how he started in the geosynthetics field, and so much more! This interview was recorded in Microsoft Teams on March 24, 2026.
