In the Geo-Video competition, student teams develop short videos explaining various geotechnical concepts that could be used in classrooms at various levels (elementary school through college) and by the lay person to understand geotechnical principles.

"AI and Landslides" was awarded an Honorable Mention in the 2026 Geo-Video competition at Geo-Congress 2026. It was created by Allyson Lee, Jasbeth Perez, and Austin Fimbres from Cal Poly Pomona. Their advisor was Ali Shafiee.
