i wrote and composed this song myself as a method of processing part of my experience in teyvat -- specifically, the main events of what we see in liyue.
it was also meant as half-gift, half-explanation for someone that once visited there. i'm not sponsored or anything, no one asked me to do this -- i just wanted to say something about what i felt going through that. i hope this will do.
i got into genshin impact when it was first released, but i was busy moving across the country and took a long break. i hadn't explored outside of mondstadt, so when i returned this past june, there was so much for me to see and learn.
what happened in liyue meant a lot. it also took my heart out of my chest, stabbed it at an incredible rate per second, and then gingerly replaced the organ where it should be.
i would never regret it.
